Project initiated for the implementation of non-technological innovations in the activities of UAB "Water Filtration Systems"

To address the company's operational efficiency and competitiveness in international markets, the company is undertaking a project under measure no. 05-001-01-05-07 "Development of a coherent system for promoting innovation", activity "Promotion of the development of non-technological innovations (Central and Western Lithuania region)". This project will involve the implementation of comprehensive service design and process innovation solutions for the company. These solutions will help attract more customers in Lithuania and abroad, increase the efficiency of sales of goods and services, and consequently, sales revenue and company profit.

 

Project Title: "UAB "Water Filtration Systems" implementation of process innovations, increasing the company's integration into international value chains". The project is financed by the European Regional Development Fund.

Project Manager UAB "Water Filtration Systems".

Project objective: To create and implement new service designs in the market, thereby increasing the company's export volume, and to implement process innovations within the company, thereby increasing the company's involvement in international value chains.

Project activity To stimulate the development of non-technological innovations by creating and implementing comprehensive enterprise service design and process innovation solutions (Central and Western Lithuania region).

Project value:  273,722.42 EUR.

Support available  119,118.27 EUR.

The project is being implemented without partners.

UAB "Water Filtration Systems" is implementing the project "Enhancing the Competencies of UAB "Water Filtration Systems" Employees".

During the project, various types of training will be carried out to improve employees' skills in advanced specialisation areas: Experimental design and execution; Water treatment technologies and potential production processes; Use and application of IT technologies. The development of employees' competencies in advanced specialisation areas is vital for the company's competitiveness. This project will enable the company to achieve a higher level of productivity, quality, and innovation.

The project is implemented under activity No. 05-001-01-05-07 "Develop employee skills required for very small, small and medium-sized enterprises" of the progress measure "Create a consistent system for promoting innovative activities" of the economic transformation and competitiveness development programme, managed by the Ministry of Economy and Innovation of the Republic of Lithuania, in accordance with the Development Programme for 2022–2030.

Total budget €53,400, with €37,380 funded by EU funds.

The project is co-financed by the European Union.

The project commenced on 27 August 2024 and will be implemented until 27 August 2026.

We are implementing the project "Development or substantial improvement and implementation (use) of environmentally friendly products at 'Water Filtration Systems, UAB'".

By order of the Minister of Economy and Innovation of the Republic of Lithuania No. 4–334 of 23 June 2023, a funding of EUR 47,331 was allocated to the project No. 02-012-K-0064 of UAB "Vandens filtravimo sistemos" titled "Development or substantial improvement and implementation (use) of environmentally friendly products at Vandens filtravimo sistemos, UAB" under measure "Promote the development and/or implementation of environmentally friendly products or technologies". The project value is EUR 53,035.
The main aim of the project is the creation and implementation (use) of an environmentally friendly product through significant improvement within the company. During the project, the product to be developed is a water filtration system controlled by a smart controller. To achieve the project's aim, tasks related to testing the original smart controller-operated water filtration system under real-world conditions through experimental research, accumulating resources for the final product version, and testing the final version will be addressed.
Project implementation duration: until 2024-07.
The project is financed by the funds of the Economic Reconstruction and Resilience Building Plan "New Generation Lithuania".

The project "Implementation of the e-commerce model for UAB 'Water Filtration Systems'" is being launched.

By order of the Minister of Economy and Innovation of the Republic of Lithuania No. 4-160 of January 28, 2022, UAB "Water Filtration Systems" was awarded EUR 59,340.00 in funding for the project "Implementation of the e-commerce model for UAB 'Water Filtration Systems'" under the measure "E-commerce model COVID-19".

The project's aim is the electronic implementation of IT business transaction management, with the objective of increasing revenue growth.

Activity description: The "AQUAFILTER" mobile application is a smart customer self-service solution with remote control and support, which allows homeowners to monitor the condition of their home water filtration equipment installed in their homes via their smartphones, register malfunctions, select and pay for services, and track service schedules. The company, in turn, will be able to carry out remote monitoring of water filtration systems by tracking warranty service schedules and sending notifications to users.

During project implementation, a mobile application (customer self-service system) will be implemented and integrated with the resource management system.

UAB Vandens filtravimo sistemos (brand name AQUAFILTER) represents top-tier water filter manufacturers from the USA, Canada, Australia, Japan, South Korea, Great Britain, Ireland, France, Italy, Spain, Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, Poland, Finland, Sweden, Turkey, Russia, Ukraine, and Lithuania.

The restrictions introduced during the pandemic regarding face-to-face customer service had severe consequences for businesses and customers. As the company's main innovation focus is water management, applying the latest innovations to everyday use and industry, and in response to emerging customer needs, UAB Vandens filtravimo sistemos plans to develop and implement customer self-service solutions – the "AQUAFILTER" mobile application – during the project.

Project No. 13.1.1-LVPA-K-860-01-1479 "UAB 'Water Filtration Systems' e-commerce model implementation" is funded by the European Regional Development Fund as part of the EU's response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
